Vintage Junior Scholastic Magazine January 18, 1968! Bulgaria: Moving Slowly Out of the Past! Up for sale is Vintage January 18, 1968 “Junior Scholastic” Magazine! This is a vintage 24-page children’s “World-Review” weekly magazine (Vol. 61, No. 14) published by Scholastic ! The magazine measures about 8⅜” x 11” and is printed on thin newsprint paper. This issue features Bulgaria: Moving Slowly Out of the Past on the cover, JS World Reporter , Muriel Siebert profile (first woman NYSE stock broker), JS Semester Quiz , Civil Rights and Civil Disobedience , Harriet Beecher Stowe and the Struggle to End Slavery , Mystery Hall of Fame crossword, Sports Super All-American (featuring Gary Beban, O.J. Simpson, Leroy Keyes, and Larry Czonka), and other stories and activities inside as well as a classic Coca-Cola ad on the back. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling, including a 1” split at the top of the spine. The magazine is complete and remains stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has clean pages with top corner bends, some light creasing, and no rips or tears. There is some writing on the centerfold quiz as shown and no other writing inside. This vintage “Junior Scholastic” magazine would make a great addition to your collection!
